AP Course Offerings

El Camino offers a variety of College Board approved Advanced Placement courses. AP offerings are year-long, rigorous college-level courses. At the conclusion of each AP course, students take a comprehensive examination. By earning a passing score (3, 4, or 5) on the exam, students may receive college units for each test passed.

2027 Exam Registration

Registration for the 2027 Exams is opens on 9/3/26! As classes get underway, teachers will be informing students about the steps they must take to set up a MyAP account on the College Board website, as well as to register and pay for their AP exams.  Students MUST have a MyAP account set up before registering or paying for their 2027 exams.

El Camino does NOT take payment for the AP exams.  Payment is processed through APTS, an outside agency.  To connect with this agency and register/pay for your 2027 AP exams, please click on the link above.  Once you click on this link, steps will be provided for you to follow in order to register and complete payment for all of your exams. Prices for all AP testing is $85. AP Tests increase with a $ 40 late fee after 11/14/26.

Exam registration for 2027 exams requires two steps: activation of your exam on the College Board MyAP site by joining the AP class on MyAP, AND submission of exam fees. Both steps must be completed by November 3, 2026 to have no $40 late fee.

Free and Reduced Lunch Discount Code: Fee reduction request can be made after September 3, 2026.  Students who qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program are eligible for a reduction to the cost of the exam.The reduction reduces the cost to $55 per exam (AP  after the Free-Reduced Lunch reduction.) To receive the exam fee reduction, please contact Asst. Principal Linda Guerrero at linda.guerrero@oside.us for a Fee Reduction Code. This code will be applied to the online payment form when prompted and will reduce the cost of the exam fees. Please apply for a fee reduction code no later than October 30, 2026 for Fall Deadline and by April 30, 2026 for Spring Deadline to ensure timely submission of your payment.
